In 2012, I started working with the Global Poverty Project in Auckland. After some years away from charities, it was great to come back to my early experiences in the non-profit sector (War Child, Children in Crisis, Rise Phoenix). Global Poverty Project is not your everyday non-profit. The goal is to shake the cobwebs of charities and produce quality content and events that connect with a new generation who missed out on Live Aid. Experiential challenges like Live Below the Line and the Global Citizen platform bring young people into the movement for social justice, and then GPP structures a journey designed to create a lifelong engagement with helping others and working towards a better world.
I directed, scripted, edited and produced or executive produced many videos for the Live Below the Line campaign..
