I believe in the power of radio, even in a world of social media, it remains one of the wonders of the modern world.  We can share voices, music and ideas from around the world with thousands of listeners at minimal cost.  Even better, they're not incapacitated by the flickering light of the blue screen of TV, so we're engaging people on a different level.  I've hosted my own show on Fresh FM in the South Island, where I celebrated different NZ musicians who inspire me.
